Grief Support Box

Description

Often we feel unsure of how to support the people around us as they are experiencing a loss. With our Grief Support Box, you can send them a few items specifically curated around bringing them some comfort in such a difficult time. Our boxes have been designed by people who have lived through grief and have suggested some of the items included. While nothing can take away the pain someone is feeling from their grief, we can help make sure they feel seen and held in that grief.

Our boxes all include:

• A sticker upon opening that will name the person they have lost. "Remembering (name)" to add that personal touch.
• A blank journal to provide a safe place for them to process their grief in writing. *Journal colors will vary depending on availability. 
• A box of Stress Relief Tea, to sit quietly and drink whenever needed. You could offer to join them for a cup of tea when they are ready.
• A small Grief Survival pouch, with some travel-size tissues, some Advil for the headaches that crying can bring, an Emergen-C Vitamin C packet, and some chocolates.
• A book related to grief and healing. *Books are gently used to keep costs low. Availability of titles varies but we will you will have the option to pick your top choices and we will do our best to honor that based on availability. Potential book titles include: "Healing After Loss- Daily Meditations for Working Through Grief", "I Wasn't Ready to Say Goodbye", "Wild by Cheryl Strayed", "Option B by Sheryl Sandberg", "Resilience by Elizabeth Edwards". We will communicate the book title with you prior to shipping the box. All books are read and vetted prior to recommending.
• A sticker that says "There is no timeline for Grief" to remind them that there is no pressure to rush their grief.
• A bookmark with an inspirational message related to grief and healing.
• A card with a personal message from you to your recipient. *options for cards are available at checkout. Blank cards are included, for a custom or personalized card there is an additional fee. Personalized cards can use our template options and upload a photo to use, or our Custom card will be an entirely unique design. You can share things with us that you know about the person who passed away and/or upload photos and we will send you several designs to choose from.
